Longview ISD uses Google Apps for Education to host its mail services as well as provide several other valuable instructional tools.


Mail Server Settings
In many cases, you can just use preset settings for "G-Mail" or "Google" or "Google Mail" to connect to your LISD mail. In cases where the client only supports protocols such as POP, IMAP and SMTP, you may need to enter the following settings in your mail client.

Server - pop.gmail.com Port - 995 SSL - Yes, use SSL

IMAP
Server - imap.gmail.com Port - 993 SSL - Yes, use SSL

SMTP
Server - smtp.gmail.com Port - 587 TLS - Yes, use TLS Authentication: Yes, you must use authentication
